Arin Young

Arin comes to Rock Creek Montessori School as a dedicated Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practitioner. She holds her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and M.A. in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice Leadership with over 5 years’ experience in domestic and international human services in education, corporate, and non-profit sectors. She has served in the Peace Corps and Americorps supporting life skills and youth development. Formerly, Arin supported San Francisco-based school communities in strengthening anti-bias and LGBTQ-inclusive practices and curricula in K-12 classroom. Arin is passionate about supporting equitable workplace climate and education culture and providing passive programming for wholistic self-reflection.

Her work at Rock Creek centers on advising and guiding our staff as we implement our values of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion as well as providing administrative support to the team.

In her free time, Arin enjoys reading, baking, and traveling.
