Martha Lange, Montessori teacher, holds both Primary and Elementary AMI Montessori diplomas from the Washington Montessori Institute. She has been a Montessori teacher since 1980 and in addition to classroom experience, operated a Family Day Care Center. She has assisted the Washington Montessori Institute in the reading of their student’s work and at their oral examinations. Martha is married and has 2 adult children.
Alice Casco Wallner, Montessori teacher, holds the Early Childhood Education diploma from Asuncion, Paraguay, and the Primary Montessori diploma and M.Ed. from Loyola College in Maryland. Alice has worked as a volunteer in a Public Montessori School in Columbia SC, and has worked with children since a young age. Alice is a native from Paraguay; she lived in different countries and speaks Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and English. She is married and has 2 children.
Fumiyo Hashida-Livermore, Toddler Directress, has an associate degree from Japan in physical education and a Primary/Assistance to Infancy AMI Montessori diploma. She came to this country to study dance. For four years, she worked at a DC charter school for the arts as an instructional assistant. She has previous experience working as an assistant at Rock Creek Montessori School and another Montessori school as well.
